We hope you are happy with your purchases from Darn It & Stitch

Products and Prices

We endeavour to ensure accurate product descriptions both written and photographic. All prices are correct, and inclusive of VAT.

Postage is charged at the standard UK rate and is sent un-insured and un-tracked. If you prefer a different delivery service please contact us directly by emailing shop@darnitandstitch.com or calling 01865 242 779

Ordering and Payments

You can make a payment using Paypal or by credit card using the secure Paypal checkout system. If you would prefer you can also order and pay over the phone by calling Darn It & Stitch 01865 242 779. 

Our opening hours are 10 - 6pm Monday - Saturday and 12 - 4pm on Sundays. We are closed on Bank Holidays.

Exchanges for online purchases.

We are happy to exchange any item that is returned to us in a saleable condition. Please return items to be exchanged with all packaging intact, with the purchase receipt within 7 days. 

Please check the quantities you require before purchasing. When ordering yarn, please ensure you have ordered all that you need to ensure the same dye lot. This is particularly relevant with hand dyed ranges.

Refunds for online purchases

Refunds for cut lengths of ribbons, fabrics, and trims are at our discretion unless proven to be faulty. Fabric, and ribbon will not be refunded or exchanged if it has been washed, cut or used in any way.

Sadly we are unable to refund or exchange items that have been removed from packaging unless proven to be faulty. We request that you obtain proof of postage on returning any items to us. Refunds will be granted once we receive the package with a valid receipt.

The cost of postage will not be refunded, however we will send the replacement for faulty items free of charge.


Workshop bookings - the small print...

For all bookings full payment is required at the time of booking. To pay by phone, or arrange BACS transfer, please call the shop-

Alternatively, you can pay in person at Darn it & Stitch.

Cancellations must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the workshop/course start date. Any cancellation made within 7 days before the workshop/course date will only be refunded if the place can be filled.

Darn it & Stitch reserves the right to cancel a workshop at any point due to unforeseen circumstances and will refund or issue a credit note for any payments made for the cancelled class. Credit notes and gift vouchers must be used by booking a workshop or course within 12 months of the issue date. Darn it & Stitch will not refund or re- issue a credit note if the credit has not been used to book with Darn it & Stitch within the 12 month period.
